Q1: Is the color of the hardware on the outside of the armoire silver or gold and what is it made of?

A: The hardware is made of solid brass and it has an antique (silver) look to it.

Q2: Does the very top of armoire have little compartments (for rings, necklaces, etc...) Do the 4 drawers have compartments (sections) as well?

A: There are 2 ring trays under the flip top cover, but no compartments inside any of the drawer.
