A: Yes there is minimal assembly. The lid needs to be attached as well as levelers on the bottom of the legs. The levelers are used if there is any uneveness in the floor. Assembly instructions are included.

A: The interior height is as follows from top to bottom: (false drawer), 2H inches, 2 1/4H inches, 3 3/8H inches, 4 1/4 inches, 4 1/4 inches, 4 1/4 inches. The exterior drawer fronts are as follows: 3 5/8H inches, 3 5/8H inches, 4H inches, 5H inches, 6H inches, 6H inches, 6H inches.

Q3: Is the wood finish glossy or flat?

A: The finish is closer to flat, but there is some sheen to it.
