It is a beautiful piece of furniture. One of the screws for the lid would not close tightly allowing the lid some side-to-side movement. One of the side doors doesn't open and close tightly as it should. For the cost I would expect operation would be completely tight when the item is new. The design is good and does what is expected- the construction is not as good as I would like.

          Saw this online after looking at many local shops without success. It was to be a gift to my wife. The design looked perfect, with lined drawers, ample space for rings, and plenty of necklace hooks. The online video was of help also. Ordering and shipping were exemplary - the piece arrived in 3 days! Unfortunately, once I opened the package, I was severely disappointed. The quality of the construction was very poor. The doors did not fit properly, the finish was dinged and scratched, and the piece was constructed of particle board, no less. I realize I was not getting top of the line construction for the price, but I expected better than what I got. Yeech! Stay away from this piece!
