This armoire is a beautiful, convenient way to protect and organize your favorite pieces. In fact, you'll probably find yourself wearing them more often, since they'll be so easy to access and put away.
This armoire has a classic look with wood construction, smoothly curved front drawers, and Queen Anne arched legs. With deep, rich burgundy and brown tones, and just a hint of plum, the Merlot finish provides a tasteful contrast to the silver-toned hardware. The front of the unit features six drawers of graduated sizes, each containing various divided compartments to store pieces of all sizes and shapes: the top drawer has nine compartments, the second drawer has six compartments, and the rest of the drawers have open storage. The top of the armoire opens to reveal a handy compartment complete with mirrored lid. Dividers create three storage spaces for items you wear most often, like watches and bracelets, plus ring rolls; you can even keep your car keys here and use it as a type of valet on busy mornings, where you know you can find everything you need for the day.
And there's more: the two sides of the armoire open outward, revealing doors lined with hooks and catch ropes that are meant to keep necklaces and chains organized and tangle-free. Just loop the necklace over the hook and let it fall inside the rope; it'll stay in place without swinging or twisting. Above the necklace hooks, you'll find slots to hold eight pairs of earrings on each door. This armoire is fully lined, from the drawers to the doors, with a soft, protective brown fabric, and weighs 40 pounds. Minor assembly required.

My wife had been keeping all her jewelery on the night stand at it was driving us both crazy! She kept saying that she was going to find herself an armoire, but to no avail she never did. Our three year anniversary was coming up, and we decided not to give each other expensive presents. I went online and searched, and found this armoire. It was shipped to the house, and required only minor assembly. When my wife found out what it was she told me that she had found another one in a different style in mind, but looked the one that I got for her over and she loved it.

I believe I was delivered a returned item. A rear leg had damage; a front leg had a large smeared finish spot like paint thinner had been dripped on it; the two rubber bumpers that the top lid lowered onto were both damaged almost to the point of being useless; there were numerous scrapes, nicks, and stain irregularities around the construction seams. The outside side panels had their front edges visible when looking at the front of the armoire and were stained a different shade than the corner posts. The washers with the leg assembly screws were already dished. There was an allen wrench included in the hardware bag for some unknown reason. The middle (center) elevated white panel in the top storage space of the armoire was not cut square, therefore there was a gap between the panel and the rear of the armoire. I'm not returning it because I don't want to spend anymore money on it for shipping.

The armoire itself is beautiful; however, beware when unpacking that the mirrored top is placed on the side and it is not taped to anything so when you unpack it may fall freely out and to the floor and break the mirror as what happened to me. No documentation included to say how to unpack it so just be careful. To replace the mirror at the local glass shop is going to be $40 or more dollars for a replacement beveled mirror. Uggh!

Seems the product I received was resealed. Way too much particle board construction. Side of armoire has some damage but is somewhat hidden when side door is closed. Drawers all fit very loosely and are mostly particle board as are internal side rails, etc. Seems only outer sections are real wood. Finish is splotchy and poor. Not at all what I expected for the money. Probably not worth the hassle to return, so I'll just keep it for now as it will suit the basic purpose of storing and organizing jewelry. This was a Valentine's gift to my wife; I'm a bit embarassed and disappointed with the item's VERY POOR QUALTY.

Easy to assembly. I recommend using a larger phillips head screwdriver than the one that is provided with the hardware.
