I love everything about this jewelry armoire. It's well constructed, has a beveled mirror, and looks great in my fancy new closet. The hidden lock is a nice asset. There is plenty of room for all my jewelry. (Okay, a little lite in the bracelet area, but I've hung them on both sides of the earring racks to compensate.) Worth every penny.

I researched several different recessed jewelry armoires and decided that this was the best choice. Unlike the cheaper model I found, this model has matching integarted wood trim moulding all the way around the box to hide the recess. The other model I looked at had no trim so it was just supposed to be stuck in the wall and caulked around the rough edge - not a very attractive install. I also liked this model better since it has more a lot more space for earrings, which is the item I most needed storage for. The quality of the wood was overall good, but a wood knot in the frame of my box bothers me, and that is why I gave this 4 starts instead of 5. Finally, I like this model because it is made in America, not in China like all the competitor models I looked at. So, in summary, since this is a better product overall plus it's made in America, this is worth the price over the cheaper competitor model.

It is supposed to be a secret storage, but the key receptacle is plainly in site. Recommend multiple brass fittings that look alike with one being the lock.

The locking system is inadequate.
