This was my first time I had purchased anything like this. I Didn't know what to expect. There discription of this item was right one. Wood is beautiful and the in lay is gorgous and just completes the looks of the chest. It is heavy and solid. The Velvet inside is smooth. Large enough for earrings, watches. But falls short on things that need to be hung up. I have a lot of necklaces and bracelets. I've laid my bracelets in the open drawers and hung my necklaces up, but still need more room. but I've been collecting my jewelry for 50 yrs.Not only did I order this one, I ordered different ones for my daughers and granddaughters,plus I ordered 4 or 5 of the black in layed rose music jewelry boxes, they are perfect for those special people in your life.
