Moh's Hardness Scale

The famed German mineralogist, Freidrich Mohs, invented a mineral hardness scale back in 1812. It became known as the Moh's Hardness Scale and is still used today to measure the hardness of minerals. Some minerals and stones appear to be hard, but really are quite fragile.
